Pink Paislee, SRM Stickers, Monsters and CHA....Oh My!

Whether you're getting ready to head to Chicago or you're just waiting to see all the fabulous sneak peeks, this is a super exciting time of year for scrapbookers!

I am headed to CHA this coming Tuesday. It will be my second time going and I'm really excited. It's so much fun to see all the wonderful products and meet with so many of my "online" friends. If you'll be there and would like to meet up....send me a message and we'll do that! jmartakis@hotmail.com I'll be walking the floor a lot, doing some make and takes at the SRM booth as well as attending the SRM class Tuesday evening.

In digital news....I have 4 new releases this week. I have a template and a new collection named Monsters. It's really cute. It can be used not only for layouts but cards, invitations, home decor....How cute would those monsters be on the wall of a child's bedroom?

Also, check out Simple Scrapper this month. I am their featured designer and there is a freebie template to download for you! :)

Make sure to take a peek at the Pink Paislee and SRM Stickers blogs. You are going to LOVE their new releases!

I have two new releases out this week at Two Peas. I am such a fan of whimsical. Can you tell?

Here are a few layouts created by my fabulous Creative Team...

 another by Nicole

 another by Miranda

and here's one from my Guest Designer this month Deanna Staley...

Lots of awesome, talented ladies! I feel absolutely privileged to have such a great team. :)

Did you notice the "Blog of the Week" badge at the top of my blog? This week I was featured in the Scrapbooking.com newsletter. How exciting! Next month I have a couple of projects that will be published in their August issue. :)

Last night, my husband and I took a motorcycle ride and decided to stop by our friends'  Norma and Damien Kennedy. It had been WAY too long since we had seen them, let alone, sat and spent some time with them. We had a great time catching up and I even got a beautiful manicure from their 3 year old daughter Isabella. She is sooooooooooooo cute! Norma has been super busy lately with the launch of her new online store For the Luv of Art. If you haven't already, you really need to check it out. She has a fabulous forum and gallery and her monthly kits are absolutely gorgeous! Norma's attention to detail is impeccable. You'll love everything about it.

Check out her unique stamp sets....aren't these gorgeous?

and guess who has a set of each? Uh-huh. Yep, lucky me! I can't wait to play!

Happy "hump" day everyone!!!

Pink Paislee Digital Freebie, New Kits & July Guest Designer

Happy Friday everyone! Gosh, this week went by super fast for me. After the 4th of July weekend, Nick and I went on a little mini vacation with a couple of friends of ours. It was a great time. We went to Shipshewana, which is a huge flea market. Then we traveled to Detroit, Michigan where we visited the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. We also drove to see Lake Huron where we could see Canada right across the way. It was beautiful. What a fabulous little get-a-way!

Do you love Pink Paislee? Do you love digital? How about a great Quick Page featuring their Starlight Collection?! I designed this QP and you can download for free HERE.

While I was out of town, I had two new kits release in my Two Peas store - Notebook Basics Grunge & WhiteSpace No. 7 Template.

Here are a few gorgeous layouts from my CT. They are sooooooooooo talented!

Last but definitely not least.....I would like to introduce to you my July Guest Designer. Her name is Deanna Staley and I think she is not only a super talented scrapbooker but a wonderful lady. I'm proud to call her my friend. :) You may know her as scrappin-grandma at Two Peas. She's an active participant in both the forums and gallery.

I asked her to write a little about herself to tell my blog readers and here's what she had to say...

I've been a scrapbooker for about 15 years now!  I switched to Digi about a year ago, but dabbled in it for the year before that.  I'm enjoying the "no mess-no fuss" that digi offers.  It's really freeing to have everything at your fingertips!!  My only fear now is a computer crash, so I'm a bit paranoid.  I have three externals besides the computer, so I'm hoping not everything crashes at one time!

On a personal note, I'm a Christian.  I'm married to my high school sweetie.  We've had 4 children, and now have been richly blessed with 14 grandchildren.  I'm a retired RN, and enjoying life!  We love camping, and we love visiting with the kids and grandchildren!

Here's a layout she put together using my WhiteSpace No. 7 Template and Notebook Basics Grunge...

Make sure to check out her beautiful gallery for a ton of inspiration! I'll be posting more of her gorgeous work throughout the month. :)

Have a fabulous weekend!
