Easter!

Can you believe it's almost Easter? This year is flying by. It's almost my birthday....AGAIN....how does that happen? EEK.

So, it's Tuesday and it's Release Day at Two Peas. I *heart* Tuesdays! I get giddy every single time one of my kits release. This week I have 4 new releases so without further ado....

These should be up in my store around 10am CST.

I am really excited to be releasing my first "Faith-based" digital kit. I plan on doing many more. If you like Christian kits and have any theme suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Of course, I am always happy to hear any kit suggestions you may have!

I would also like to introduce to you my guest designer for April. Her name is Casey Wright and she is a very talented and sweet lady. I am honored to have her design for me this coming month! :)

Here's a little bit about her...

I'm a hardworking mom who spends as much time with my family as I can. I reside in the Midwest with my husband Jacob, and daughter Peyton. I have been crafting pages for about ten years, but my love for scrapbooking brought on new meaning after the birth of my daughter. Now, I would say that I'm officially obsessed with everything that is scrapbooking. I like the flexibility of moving back and forth between digital and traditional forms of scrapbooking, depending on my mood and what I want to create. I also like to work with a lot of different mediums and work those kinds of elements into my creations. For me, scrapbooking isn't just a hobby, it brings a bit of therapy at the end of my day and helps me take that much needed time for myself. It also has the great benefit of capturing everyday life so that we can enjoy the memories for many years to come.

And here are a few of  her projects using this week's new releases....

and just look at these adorable hybrid cards!!!

Make sure to check out Casey's 2peas gallery too!

bad blogger

I have been a terrible blogger. I have so much to update and I've just been crazy busy.

My mother-in-law fell a few weeks ago and broke her ankle. She had to have surgery and was unable to put any weight on her leg at all. She moved in with us and we have been taking care of her. Yesterday she was put in a walking cast and is now able to try and walk on it as tolerated with a walker. She will have 3-4 weeks of therapy and then she'll probably be able to move back home.

In digital news....I have several new releases in my store. There are templates, quickpages and a few kits. Make sure to take a peek! Here are a few of them...

I have also added a new designer to my Creative Team. I'm so excited to introduce to you.....Janet Carr. She is a good friend of mine and an amazingly talented artist. Not only does she create fabulous digital layouts but she is also a kit designer herself. Here's a peek at a few of the layouts she created using two of my new kits....One Way and Rain Drops.

Make sure to peek at all the gorgeous layouts and cards that my CT has put together for the last several weeks. Just click on the kit images above and make sure you are on the "member gallery" tab and it will take you right to them!

TGIF

It's just been one of "those" weeks I suppose. I won't sit and complain but I will say I'm especially glad that it's Friday. ;)

I realized that I haven't shared a few of my 2peas layouts that I've done for the Weekly Digital Challenges. I apologize for not posting them here while they were going on. I promise to be more on the ball next time! Click on images for full credits.

I have also been working with paper again. It's been so much fun. I can't believe that I forgot how much I really enjoy it. Here are a few of the cards I've created this week.  These cards all feature SRM Stickers, which by the way are AWESOME and so addictive. I love them for card-making and layouts. I created a layout with SRM and Cosmo Cricket yesterday. I can't wait to share but you'll have to wait until the end of March for "Creating with Cosmo" week. There will be a week of fun on the SRM Stickers blog. :)

In digital happenings this week, I release this new kit....Robots. It's perfect for children's layout boy and girl and it makes adorable cards! Check out what some of mmy Creative Team did with it HERE.

Also, if you received a spam email from me yesterday, I am so sorry. My hotmail account was hacked. I have since changed my password.
Well, have a wonderful weekend! I think that I'm going to talk my hubby into a pizza night. ;)

March Guest Designer

Good Monday morning! I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was nice. I spent most of the day Saturday in my scraproom and loved every minute of it. Sunday was church and an afternoon with close friends and family. It doesn't get much better than that. :)

I'd like to introduce you to my guest designer for the month of March. Her name is Toni Wall and she is a super talented Designer and Illustrator.

A little about Toni...

Toni Wall grew up in Birmingham, AL and as a child, loved to sketch and draw. Her favorite subject was clothes and she dreamed of being a fashion designer when she grew up. Her father, who had an interest in art, encouraged her to be an artist. At the age of 19, she got her first job as an assistant designer for a childrenswear manufacturer in Birmingham. Since that time, Toni has designed and illustrated for many manufacturers in several caterories including apparel, home textiles, and stationery products. Her designs have been sold to several retailers including Target, Walmart, and Macys. Most recently, she has developed a love for mixed media painting and is hoping to sell her creations at Etsy in the future.

After a long career in design, Toni had a desire to find fulfillment in the spiritual side of her life and enrolled in Bible college. She has started a ministry for creative types called the Pure in Heart Project. (http://www.thepureinheartproject.com) whose mission is to share God's love and plant seeds of hope through handmade greeting cards. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! You can find out more about Toni at http://www.toniwall.com.

You really have to take a peek at some of her work. Here is one of her recent paintings. It. is. gorgeous. Wouldn't you agree?

and here is a few of the fun projects she's created showcasing my March and March Whimsy kits...

Aren't these just adorable?! Toni is also a new poster to Two Peas. If you'd like to leave her layouts some love, HERE'S a link to her gallery. :)
