Speaking of photos and scrapbooking....I thought I'd show you a layout that I created recently for Two Peas. Nick (my husband) and I recently took an impromptu trip to Chicago....without the kids. We were in desperate need of some together time and so we just kind of ran away from home. Of course, I took lots of pictures but this has to be my favorite. It just reminds me of the special time that we had together.
I played with the opacity on almost every layer for this layout. For the photograph, I overlaid it with Vinnie's plaid paper, dialed down the opacity to 20% and then took my eraser tool with the opacity set at 70% and erased the plaid off our legs and feet.

Great pic. We went to Maui 2 summers ago. When we got home there was a photo of the 4 of us from the knees down. When I saw it my first thought was why did she leave that on the camera? However after thinking about it I used it as the cover to a snapfish book letting it tell of where our feet have taken us. Can you imagine the luck of 8 feet and legs in a picture being usable? I think not luck.
