where, oh where?

have I been, you ask???

I've been right here, not posting on my blog. I have no excuse other than I've just been lazy. I haven't had much scrappy work that I can share (yet) so that doesn't help. I've been super busy working on projects though. ;)

Here's a couple that I can share...these are up in the Creative Memories Project Center....

On the home front....my Andrew Lee turned two on Sunday. It's so hard to fathom that my baby is growing up on me. I should say "babies" because my oldest turns 17 years old in June. It's so unreal to be contemplating college plans. *sigh*

Back to Drew....His evaluation with First Steps has been completed and his speech therapy will begin within the next two weeks. He will also be having a nutrition evaluation. Some of you are aware that he is still breastfeeding and I have not been able to wean him because he doesn't eat much solid food. This is something we have been concerned about for the past year and felt like we were in a catch 22. Do you just stop nursing and hope he'll eat or do you just continue to nurse because that's where he's getting most of his nutrition. Well, it seems that the therapists believe that his speech and eating issues are related....he has several delays and one of them is his oral motor skills. Who knew that these things could go hand in hand.

Well, the boys have a "fog" day today. No school. So, I'm off to spend some time lounging around with them. :)

We got hit with over 18 inches of snow Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The kids were sent home early Tues. and off for a snow day yesterday. Fun times! I spent most of the day trying to keep the snow OUT of my house with the kids going out to play and then coming back in to warm up SEVERAL times. ;)

Today, I'm trying to catch up on some laundry, maybe a scrappy project and trying to get my little guy back to healthy. He has bronchitis and is just miserable.

how did that happen?

January just flew by. *sigh* I promise that I've been scrapping - just haven't been able to share much. I've been a bit busy with both traditional and digital projects. I recently finished a 20 page StoryBook for a Mother's Day gift for Nick's mom. I dedicated two pages to each of her children and grandchildren. One side has a letter from that child and the opposing side is a collage of photos. I hope that she will love it.

I have a couple of Valentine's projects that are up at the Creative Memories Project Center. These were really fun to create.



I can also share my Memorable Seasons DT work from January. Jill sent me the SEI line - Jolie Chocolat. It is gorgeous! I have always loved this photo of my grandparents.




In the non-scrappy part of my life.... last week we celebrated the baptism of two more of our children, Nicholas and Joshua. It is such a joy to watch my children demonstrate their love and obedience to Christ. I will leave you with a few photos. I hope you have a wonderful week. :)
