sorry guys...

It's been an entire week since I last updated. I guess life just gets in the way sometimes. Last week seemed to be my "catch up" week. I spent an entire day just deep cleaning the house. It was really needing it. I spent some quality time with the kiddos and I scrapped - A LOT. Unfortunately I can't share much with you right now. :(

I designed the August Kit for Memorable Seasons and I think you're gonna like it! Stay tuned for some sneak peaks!

I did several projects for Cosmo Cricket but I can't share them all quite yet. Oh, and guess what....Julie, the owner, asked for all of them to put on the site! Yay!

I also found out that I won the monthly contest at Lotus Paperie. Check out my winning layout here. I can't wait to receive my free kit from there. It is BEAUTIFUL!

Alright, here's what I can share though.....Have a great Monday everyone!

the NEW Cosmo Cricket line - Haunted

check out the "swinging" bottom. I made a mistake and came up with this idea to fix it. :)

This is a pic of my mother-in-law and all of her siblings at the family reunion. Love that I was able to catch that moment.

Here's my Sketch This card for challenge # 59.

back from CHA!

Wow, what a wonderful weekend! I had such a blast a CHA. I was able to meet up with so many of my online friends and I just loved seeing all the yummy new products! I tell you what though, I am so not used to all of that walking. My legs are still aching. ;)

Here we are with Heidi Grace. She is an absolute cutie! She was flirting with Nick and yeah, that was all good with him. ;)

Here I am with the AMM girls. I was thrilled to get to spend Saturday afternoon with them. They are a riot!

Here's one of my good buddy Kelly and I. She is from TMZ and I just love her dearly. She is just an awesome lady. :)

And this one? Well, I was a lucky winner of this great prize package from Making Memories. Not only did I get all the goodies shown but they are also sending me the new Slice die cutting system! WooHoo!

Now, there's a funny story behind this win. Making Memories was handing out aprons with their logo on it for everyone to wear. Then they sent out their "Prize Patrol" to scout out apron wearers. With quite the coaxing, Norma and I were able to finally convince Nick to wear his. Well, he decided to be a bit original and wore it as a cape. He called himself, "Super Slice Man". (You can see it around his neck in the Heidi pic) Oh-My-Goodness! Anyway, I am convinced that his cape-wearing caught the prize patrol's eye and that's how I was picked. :) It was so worth it for me. heehee

happy mail & off to CHA!

First of all, guess who is now a licensed driver?

I can hardly believe it. *sigh*

Now, look at all the wonderful goodies that came in the mail today from Jodi at Cosmo Cricket. She sent me this awesome package for being a top 20 finalist in their recent Design Team call.

The entire Hello Sunshine line...

And all the New CHA releases!
Jack's World

Mr. Campy

I could hardly contain my excitement when I opened up the box! Wow! Thanks Cosmo Cricket!

Early in the morning I am off to CHA. I am so excited, it's my first time and I can't wait. Nick is going with me, isn't that the coolest? I promise to take lots and lots of photos! Have a great weekend! :)

Scenic Route - Liberty

When I first saw this line I have to admit that I just wasn't absolutely crazy about it. I really am usaully not a fan of "theme" papers. When I received them in my July Design Team kit from Memorable Seasons I actually fell in love. They are beautiful papers with gorgeous colors. I created one 4th of July layout but was also able to use this line for "other" things too. It's much more versatile than I first gave it credit for. :)

back home...

Sketch This #57

Camping was wonderful. Everyone had a great time. Except for maybe Jim who says he was bored the entire time. Teenagers. *insert eyeroll smiley*

I have tons of photos to go through and I'm sure I'll get to scrapping them when I'm done unpacking, doing laundry, grocery shopping and all of that fun stuff. :)

Last Sunday was the one year anniversary since Andrew's craniosynostosis surgery. It is just amazing to us that it's been that long already. We praise God everyday for blessing us with this little guy (and all the other one's too.) :)

happy weekend!

This one I just did for fun. I love this photo of my mother in high school. Both the card and this layout were made with Jenni Bowlin papers.

The holiday weekend is almost here! Nick is on vacation all next week starting tomorrow. Yay! The fourth of July will be spent like we always do - morning parade, afternoon cookout with friends and evening fireworks. Saturday we have a family reunion. It will be a busy weekend. What are your plans?

I probably won't update much until the end of next week. I hope that everyone has a great holiday weekend. :)
