new kits, new moon....what's better than that?

I have 3 new kits this week and am so excited to see the 2peas Creative Team already working to create layouts and projects with them. Here are two gorgeous pages that Wilna Furstenberg made, using my Nuts 4 U kit.

and here's one that I put together this afternoon....

Nick and I went to see New Moon this past Friday. I seem to be in the minority when I share that I didn't like it as much as Twilight.  I have to admit though that New Moon was my least favorite book too. I know, again, I'm in the minority. I can't help that I'm such an Edward fan. It's not that I like Robert Pattinson, cause I really don't think "he" is that attractive but Edward, the character? Yeah, vampires are my thing. ;)

And yes, New Moon was definitely persuasive in trying to get me to switch to team Jacob. After the haircut and all that....yeah....almost. ;)

It's Friday and that makes me smile. A weekend with my (just about) healthy family is what I need. Tonight, Nick and I are hoping to get out for a bit. Maybe dinner and a movie. I would love to see New Moon but don't want to fight the crowds to see it either. Maybe we'll go see 2012 and wait another week for that. ;)

Above are my seeds for the mid-month garden at Two Peas. For full credits, just click on the images.

There's not much planned for the weekend. I'm hoping to actually get to attend church for the first time in weeks tomorrow morning. I'm so happy that everyone in the family if finally feeling better.

Today, I think I might just enjoy some designing for a bit. Have a wonderful weekend! :)

what a crazy sick couple of weeks.

I have been so sick and tired of being sick and tired. I think there are quite a few of us out there that can relate to that. ;)

But.....I am feeling better and am hoping that I am now immune to all the "plagues" going around out there. LOL

I'd like to say that I haven't blogged because I've just been so busy working....yeah, well....not so much. It was more like busy taking care of sick people. I did manage to get off a new digital collection that was released at Two Peas on Tuesday. It's a fun and festive kit called Snow Day. You have the option of buying the full kit at a special price or if you only want some of the elements I broke the kit down so you can purchase separately. Here are some previews....

Next Tuesday, my release will include coordinating alphas and word art. :)

Speaking of Two Peas.....Don't forget to apply for the Creative Team! The call ends this Friday. Click on the banner on the top left of my blog for more info. :)

I have quite a few layouts to share with you too but I think I'll wait for another day. I am *crossing my fingers* that I will blog more than once this week. ;)

Have a fabulous day!

grateful

Can you believe it's November already? It seems so crazy to me that the year is almost gone. For those of us in the US, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in just a few short weeks. I always look forward to a day full of family and yummy food. ;)

This week's new releases can be easily used for Thanksgiving layouts and even your general Fall photos. I love the rich colors of the season and tried to incorporate them into these kits. Both Grateful and Grateful WordArt coordinate perfectly with my Scalloped Cardstock Packs 1 & 2. You will also find a new template this week - Simple Starts No. 9.

Also, Two Peas in a Bucket announced a Digital Creative Team Call. So, if you're a digital or hybrid papercrafter make sure you check it out! The deadline for applications is Nov. 13th.

On the home-front.....We are passing around a stomach virus/ cold. I don't know that's it's H1N1 but I suppose that it could be. So far, no high fevers. I came down with the stomach part of it yesterday afternoon. It was really weird, unlike the "traditional" stomach flu. I was, well, still am honestly, very nauseous and have this horrible headache. I spent all afternoon and evening yesterday in bed. Nick had the same thing a couple of days ago. I also have sinus congestion, a bit of a sore throat and just general body ache. I have a feeling that it's going to be a very rough winter in our house. *sigh*

I shared this on Facebook this morning but wanted to post it here too....

Yesterday afternoon, I came down with a stomach virus and spent all evening in bed. This morning, I woke up to a post-it note on my laptop from my "little" Nick..... "Mom, I'm sorry you're sick. I mopped and vacuumed the kitchen. I wiped the stove, microwave and fridge. Hope you feel better."

How precious is that? I couldn't ask for sweeter kids. Well, I hope everyone is staying well out there....or at least on the way to getting better. Have a great Tuesday!

Yay for Tuesday!

Have you noticed a theme on my blog every Tuesday? Tuesday's are "new digital kit release day" @ two peas. I've been a 2peas Digital Designer for 5 weeks now and am loving every minute of it. I think that I found my passion in designing. It's something I really enjoy.

This week I released two Scalloped Cardstock packs for you. They come in rich Fall colors in both square and circle backgrounds.

I also have 2 new templates for you. Here's No. 8 in my Simple Starts series and No. 3 in my WhiteSpace series.

As always, I would love to hear what you are looking for in digital kits. I want to create kits that are useful and exciting to you.

I'll leave you with a layout that I made awhile back but didn't get a chance to post here on my blog.

Supplies: Erica Hernandez - Letter Template No. 1. Betsy Tuma Happy Go Lucky - Bliss. Jen Allyson - Spot Color Journal Stamps. Meredith Fenwick - Roughed up Alpha. Font Century Gothic.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
